Title: Sales and Marketing Director

The leader of avatar staffing solutions in virtual worlds, which provides avatar-based moderators, event planners, and customer service representatives for marquee brands, is seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to lead the overall sales and marketing efforts for the company. The position will have responsibility for sales generation and business development, including sourcing of prospects, creative concepting, pitching, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management.
Responsibilities:
* Source prospective leads, prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, and achieve sales results
* Develop and execute interactive marketing and sales campaigns
* Coordinate and participate in virtual world conferences and other global industry events
* Maintain corporate blog
* Monitor and test developing virtual worlds
Requirements:
* Knowledge of virtual worlds, online communities, and developing technology
* Experience in the online community moderation business a plus
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Self-motivated with capacity to excel with minimum supervision
* Ability to work remotely and travel
* Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
* Bachelor’s degree
* London, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles locale a plus
