Our client, a unique, fast-growing online social networking/virtual world geared toward teens, is seeking a talented, pioneering and well rounded Viral Marketing professional to own all of the company’s online viral marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this individual will be responsible for: driving profitable traffic to the site through Viral Marketing Campaigns; developing, managing and analyzing a full range of online marketing initiatives, including paid search (SEM), website optimization (SEO), blogs and interactive advertising and promotion; and managing on-going expansion of blogs, multimedia, widgets and more. In addition to developing and managing the online initiatives, the Viral Marketing Manager should possess knowledge of virtual worlds and microtransactions. The Viral Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with other marketing and creative team members including brand managers, writers, designers and illustrators to bring the company’s strategy dramatically to life in the market place.

Responsibilities:
* Drive profitable traffic to the site through Viral Marketing Campaigns

* Work collaboratively with other marketing and creative team members including brand managers, writers, designers and illustrators

Required Skills:
* B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, communications, business administration, advertising or related field
* More than four years of interactive marketing and online advertising experience
* More than two years of direct experience in search engine optimization, blogging, forums, widgets etc.
